RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, grinding, or sandblasting,removing rust, scale, or old coatings as required. 

•  Mix paints, primers, thinners, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications and job requirements. 

•  Apply primer, undercoat, and finish coats using spray guns, rollers, or brushes in accordance with technical data sheets and quality standards. 

•  Mask and protect areas not intended for painting prior to application.
