• Carry out dimensional measurement and inspection of raw materials, in-process, and finished items on the shop floor as per approved drawings and specifications.

•  Use measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, tape, gauges, etc.) accurately and maintain their calibration status.

•  Assist in visual inspection of welded, fabricated, and machined components for conformance to quality standards.

•  Record inspection and measurement results accurately in inspection checklists, reports, and QC logs.

•  Prepare and maintain QC reports, inspection records, and measurement data sheets for management and customer review.

•  Flag non-conforming items, dimensions, or workmanship to the QC Supervisor and support root-cause/rework follow-up.
